Our scholarship program selects students from seven local high schools, and we welcome applications from all interested candidates. You can download the application from our website or obtain a copy from your school's guidance office. Along with the application, we require a student transcript and an essay that highlights their desire to pursue higher education and why they believe they are deserving of the scholarship. To access the application, simply click on the provided link.
At HOLC, we recognize that many students face significant barriers to obtaining a college education. This is especially true for those who come from families with limited educational opportunities or financial means. Our program aims to provide these students with the resources and support they need to achieve their educational goals. We stay in touch with our scholarship recipients throughout their academic journey, offering academic and personal guidance. At present, our scholarship recipients receive $1,500 a school year provided students maintain an acceptable grade point average and are in good standing at their respective school.
